4th of July Fireworks are Blowing Up Right Now!
The best way to celebrate Independence Day is with friends, family, and massive mid-air explosions! There are great fireworks shows near every Car City location, and we’ve compiled this handy guide for feeding your pyrotechnic cravings.
Grand Rapids: The Amway Family Fireworks show takes place on July 1st at Ah-Nab-Awen Park in downtown Grand Rapids. Entertainment begins at 5:00 pm and fireworks will light the sky at 10:30 pm.
Cadillac: The Cadillac Freedom Festival is a full weekend of events culminating in a fireworks show over Lake Cadillac! Beginning on June 30, festivalgoers will have ample opportunity to eat, drink, parade, splash, and soak up the sun. After the sun goes down on July 2nd, the fireworks begin!
Lansing: The Lansing July 4th Celebration begins with a parade at 11:00 am – not a bad way to start your day! Head down to the Adado Riverfront Park at 10:00 pm to get your firecracker fix.
Muskegon: The annual 4th of July Parade & Fireworks is exactly what you’ll get in Muskegon! The parade travels from Whitehall City Hall to Downtown Montague at 10:00 am, then return later for the fireworks display!
Battle Creek: The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival has not one, but two nights of fireworks! On July 1st and July 4th at dusk, check out one of the largest fireworks displays in Michigan at W.K. Kellogg Airport.
South Bend: Cruise over to Mishawaka for the Independence Day Celebration and enjoy events, activities, and attractions from 7:00 am all the way to 10:15 pm when the fireworks begin!
